Date: December 29, 2015 in the PM!!!
As everyone had broken up for Christmas so what better than another night in the garage with Dad and Simon.
Before we commenced with the removal procedure it was important that we heard the Jeep run. Armed with a new battery and unleaded fuel we fired the 2.2 Willy's engine up and it went on the 2nd or 3rd attempt. Not bad for a Jeep that has been sitting for an extended period of time.
Below are the pictures of the nights efforts.

Removal of the oil filled air filter. This done to get at the bracket which holds the hand break cable in place. |

We are now at a stage where the tub can come out and we can really find out what condition it is in! Then it will be making lots of list and while we wait for bits, lots of cleaning!!!!
On the list at present is some wheel nuts drivers side which I believe are reverse thread. I can see an internet search coming on over the next week or so to find the relevant parts. Another option is to save the list and go into one of these JEEP mega stores with a list and see what we can do on a deal for a mass order. I'm not sure if this will be possible but we can give it a good go!
Looks like tonight might be off as Simon has just text to say he cant make it and as the Jeep is there it makes it kinda difficult! Oh well it means getting rid of Christmas for me and some more work, planning lesson for the rest of this week!!!
